About Your Job:
As a Senior Cargo Sales and Services Executive you will ensure efficiency in the movement of cargo through Qatar Airways (QR) stations, maximize space utilization on QR aircraft, maintain high quality and service standards by supervising the Ground Handling Agents (GHA) activities in the warehouse and on the ramp, and perform various station activities for Qatar Airways Cargo . You will provide operational support to ensure the smooth flow of cargo to and from the local station which may involve, but is not limited to, monitoring and placing of bookings, liaising with Head Office Cargo when required, and providing direction and assistance to the GHA.
Accountability
- Provide cargo operations and customer service function
- Close coordination with the sales team, other station staff, GHA staff in order to ensure smooth movement of cargo.
- Flight planning with maximum utilization of the flight capacity, control and operations export and import.
- Maintain a close coordination between QR space control and customers by ensuring their shipments are transferred, delivered on time, correct priority given and for maximum utilization of space.
- Handle all internal and external customer queries relating to export/import cargo.
- Ensure full compliance at all times with all safety and security regulations and procedures as per host state and company requirements.
- Supervise the GHAs in the assigned territory on a daily basis to ensure best possible performance and service rendered to QR Cargo.
- Identify needs and develop activities to improve cargo sales and operational performance for stations.
- Coordinate with GHA ramp staff and ensure the off loaded, left behind cargo messages sent to stations.
- Control and administration of ULD stock and cargo stationary in coordination with the GHA
About You:
To join our team in this role, you will need a relevant college or bachelor's degree or equivalent. You will have strong commercial acumen, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in airline sales and marketing, preferably cargo sales.
Your MS office skills must be at an advanced level, and you must have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. You must be fluent in English and be legally eligible to live and work in Cairo, Egypt
