Placing women’s rights at the center of all its efforts, UN Women leads and coordinates United Nations system efforts to ensure that commitments on gender equality and gender mainstreaming translate into action throughout the world. It provides strong and coherent leadership in support of Member States’ priorities and efforts, building effective partnerships with civil society and other relevant actors.
Under the overall guidance and direct supervision of the Programme Manager, the Finance and Administrative Assistant is responsible for helping ensure the provision and the execution of programme finance services and the effective and transparent utilization of financial resources including the integrity of financial and administrative services. The incumbent promotes a client-oriented approach consistent with UN Women rules and regulations.
The Finance and Administrative Assistant advises the project support staff and works in close collaboration with the Program Associate and the Operations teams in ROAS for resolving together complex programme and financial-related issues.

1.Support implementation of administrative and operational strategies
2.Support of Lebanon programme management and effective cost recovery
3.Accounting and administrative support.
4.Support to implementation of the resource mobilization strategy
5.Provision of administrative and logistical support
6.Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing, and guidance to all stakeholders on financial matters
